Weekend Recap Edition 2

I had no idea my last post didn't publish. Oih.

This weekend these two little 18 month olds tested my patience. A lot. And I don't think I truly passed. I even worked Saturday!

Friday-
We started off great. With a pants on the head parade, in tennis shoes at 7am.

Nap was short. I seriously don't understand when I home they never nap great.

So we headed to McDonald's for our first time at a place to eat just the 3 of us, where we are inside and not the drive thorough!

We went to Walmart to pick up some stuff for Daddy for Valentine's Day.

Then came home and waited for Dada. He had a game that night but he was able to go with us to Matts (aka Unkie matts) birthday party. Where the girls were awful. Awful. Awful.

Early bedtime.
I however, stayed up and made these!
Beyond obsessed. So many ideas running through my head.

Saturday- I worked and as much as I hate to say it- I was like PTL. The girls were super crabby. Wouldn't eat breakfast I made them, spilled sweet tea on the carpet and bria opened my mascara while I was cleaning said tea and got it all over herself.

The girls did enjoy their Valentine's Day Minnie Mouse mailbox and stickers. They are obsessed with stickers. Obsessed.

Work was great but it snowed and snowed and snowed and was super windy. I needed to brave it to ACMoore. After driving home from work and picking up pizza. Put crank-Zillas to bed and I ventured out in the snow storm half an hour away. And they were closed. J could have cried. I spray painted some lace once I got home for the girls frozen photo shoot & called it an early night.

Sunday- cranky cranky. All morning. Early nap. Early wake. I thought of boy. This is going to suck.

It got so bad Andrew brought out the pink horse we've had forever and put it together so they could be happy for 2.5 seconds but It lasted longer than that and Ella wouldn't get off!!

Finally it was time to leave for their Frozen shoot which besides Bs poutyface- went 100 times better than I ever imagined. No pictures. I was too busy singing for smiles!

We ended up at AC Moore, Sams, Apples bees and the mall play place. & then home!
Prepping for her tattoo sleeve

Weekends like this make me exhausted but blessed that I have these two to drive me crazy, but still want huggies from their mama at the end of the day

Weekend Recap Edition 1

Eventually when I'm caught up on life blogging. The sequencing will make more sense. Anywho. For now. I want to start this because we had a fantabulous weekend and I even worked Sarurday!

It was my Mamaws birthday! The big 7-8! We go eat lunch at her house once a week usually. I was obsessed with going to her house growing and they are pretty much home everyday. Usually- Friday's are our lunch date day. This friday happened to fall on her birthday. We woke up and hadn't even changed out of our pajamas to make this happen.

Played-

Until nap time.

Post nap- we ran around town. Getting lunch, picking up her ice cream cake and finally after 3 trips from the car into her house- we were ready to celebrate.

Ella was a fan of smushing the icing around. B was a spectator.

We stayed until 2ish and came home. The girls were cranky! Andrew came home for a teensy but before his game. He let around 4. They are killing me when I try to get dinner ready so I opted for left over and microwave mashed potatoes. Don't judge.

Saturday I worked and after a meltdown finally managed to sneak out of the house with little tears. I was late leaving work. & I met my husband and the girls at the restaurant by our house. One of my favs. They were entertainment for most of the people there. They did great.

Sunday- we needed to go to the grocery store bad. We did that before nap time.

After nap I was sad I had to run to bridgeport to pick up some shirts, but I needed too.

I made these for a girl I work with and I'm having a play date on Wednesday. But. We made up for it Sunday afternoon!

I'm dying... Dying. I love them so much.
And now that we've played outside. We desperately need more play clothes. They get dirty quick!

Ella wanted to push it so bad! Finally bria figured she could lay back and keep her foot on the pedal and ella thought she was pushing her. So it worked.

Then we went to the play ground5 minutes from the house.

They actually did the big kid slide! No pictures but their scared facials were hilarious!

I'm dying at this picture. I hope they like basketball because we will have some amazing pictures for them to look back on!

We came back. Ate dinner (crockpot is seriously becoming my BFF) & that was that.

Today is starting off pretty great already too! I almost always work Monday's and I have today off! Whooop!

3 ft Lego tower?! Why not!

Christmas Catch Up Part Deuce

We left off on Sunday at my grandmothers and moms house. I worked 8-8 Monday and Tuesday at work. Andrew was off and enjoyed spending some much needed time with the girls. It's basketball season and they only see him on the weekends basically.

Wednesday was Christmas Eve. Traditionally we do Christmas Eve Breakfast. & the past few years its been at our house. Our basement is big enough and I told Andrew we were already running around enough, when we have kids - I'm not running around anymore than I needed to. SO. With that being said, Andrew's parents both ended up having to work in the morning and we didn't start until 1. Well,, people started showing up at 1045. Um. I didn't even have a bra on. Oih.

The girls were on a weird nap schedule. We had been going back and forth and hadn't made the change permanently to one nap. That day - we needed too. The girls heard the commotion and of course woke up early, so I knew they were going to be EXHAUSTED.

'

I mean. PURE JOY.

So the girls got a new playroom from us. This had just been storing junk for a while and it was the best decision we made was fixing this up. It's still not done. The brown wall needs painted for sure. But the girls favorite gift came from Aunt Heidi and a uncle Dennis in the form of a trampoline!

Let's Play Catch Up!

We are going to play catch up, in what I hope is one entire post. I can't even believe I'm this behind in literally EVERYTHING in my life. ugh.

First Christmas dinner, My Maws. My dads family. We literally only get together at Christmas time so it's important that we make an effort to go.

The girls had so much fun. To think three years ago there were no kids. Now, there is 8. Kayleigh, Lylah, Mary Jane, Ella, Bria, Jonas, Avery and Athan. My cousin Nathaniel had twins who are 7 months old and Ella LOVED them if you couldn't tell! The girls had a great time,, then it was on to Nanny and Pappys that same night!

LOOK AT ALL THESE GIFTS!!!! & this wasn't even all of them. Our desk, My girls barbie jeep.. BUT magically she did better than last year if you can believe it!

The girls had a lot of fun and were exhausted as were we! They got a a little bit of toys, books and a lot of pajamas. We havent had much of a chance to use the barbie jeep, I'm sure they will love it. BUT their favorite toys were the bath toys from Aunt Nene, the frozen microphone from Aunt Nene & their Frozen blankies from Nanny and Pappy. We loved all the pajamas we got from Nanny and Pappy. It saved us a lot of money! :) Part 2... stay tuned.
